Public Liability Insurance for Street Parties
Finance ReDirect has negotiated a unique Public Liability
insurance scheme designed for neighbours' street parties
(including parties for the Big Lunch).
By neighbours' street parties we mean an event which is:

mainly
organised by and for residents,
-
in a
single or couple of linked streets for one day,
-
with
publicity limited to the invited residents only,
-
nothing is
being sold,
-
where
activities are limited and without major performances,
staging or equipment etc. and
-
the street
party will finish no later than 11pm
If your event
is bigger than the above, you may need different event
insurance.
The scheme offer £5,000,000 Public Liability cover for
£78.75 . To apply for the

Information - Please read
Please note that this policy excludes:
- the use of any
inflatables;
-
the use of skateboards, roller skates or roller blades
- any alcohol or drug
related damage or injury
- any erection and/or dismantling of bunting
The street party must comply with the Local Authority
requirements in allowing the street party.

Please note the policy provides an automatic extension for
Indemnity to Principals (including local authorities) - for
further details see page 9 of the policy, under paragraph 2 of
the Extensions to Section 1.
